Third Stage - Page One - Ray and his JCB

The best place for the wildlife pond seemed to be the flat lower garden
which can be been from the cottage

Ray Goodwin started excavating with his JCB in July 2005.

Since we didn't want the JCB to go back over this ground we had Ray
form the "Long Walk" path on his way back towards the gate. We also
asked him to widen the brook at this point so we could make a feature of it.

Spare soil was used to smooth out some rough ground under the Scots Pines
near our gate in Lowe Lane.
