Filming for the BBC Series Open Gardens

22 and 23 July 2007 - The Final Days

The fifth visit by the film crew for Open Gardens was on our NGS open day on the 22nd of July. Alan and I were filmed doing last minute preparations including putting up the NGS road signs. Visitors were then filmed walking around the garden and several were interviewed about their visit.

The day after the open day Carol Klein and the film crew visited for the last time. The above photo shows Carol interviewing me about how the open day went . We did this four different times from different camera angles so it was good fun trying to remember what I had said each time..
