The Next Stage - Current Projects March 2006

March was very cold but now that things are warming up we have started work on a new
path joining the woodland garden to the prairie garden.

The bank is quite difficult to walk on here so we have cut out a level path and we
are using new railway sleepers to retain the border.

We have also had deliveries of specimen shrubs including bamboos, conifers, photinias
and hibiscus which will be planted in the next week or so. And finally we have seen the first
frog spawn and newts in the wildlife pond so the garden is coming alive again after a long winter.
