The Garden Gallery

The garden is still very young as we only started developing it in the spring of 2003, however these photos will give you an idea of how we are progressing. Click on the "Garden" to open the photo gallery.

"The Cottage Garden"
This was the first project started in 2003 and is nearest to the cottage.

"The Woodland Garden"
We have a small birch and oak wood through which we have built a bark path and planted spring bulbs. We have also planted several rhododendrons to provide colour in late spring and early summer.

"The Prairie Garden"
This is a large series of borders planted with grasses and late flowering perennials as well as conifers and shrubs. It leads on to another woodland border that goes through a small Hazel wood.

"The Wildlife Pond Garden"
The pond was built late in 2005 and started to attract wildlife almost straight away..

"The Long Walk"
A long path that runs the length of the bottom part of the garden through new specimen trees planted in the last three years and by the brook which meanders through the garden.
